When most people think of Tai Chi classes (short for “T’ai Chi Ch’üan”), they usually imagine a group of older people moving in slow motion in a public park. But this ancient movement practice is not just for the 65-plus crowd.  At Camberley Tai Chi we teach from age 14 upwards! Camberley Tai Chi has many health benefits for people at any age, according to research, like reducing stress, improving strength and balance, and reducing the likelihood of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and chronic pain.

A beginner’s class emphasises the Yang style beginner’s 8 movements and qigongs 1 and 2.

Intermediate Class

Particular emphasis is on the Yang style 24 Movements and qigong 3.
